Rainbow Cake Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Gel food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green blue)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease three round baking pans.

  3. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition then stir in vanilla extract.
    4.. In another bowl sift together flour & baking powder; gradually add dry mixture alternating between adding milk until well combined.
    5.. Divide batter evenly into separate bowls then tint each portion using different colors making red orange yellow green blue colored batters respectively
    6.. Spoon batters into prepared pans spreading them evenly smoothing tops before placing them inside preheated oven Bake for about half hour or check when toothpick inserted comes out clean .
